Continue e-visas for Saudi tourists: Kerala govt

Kerala government on Wednesday asked the Centre to exempt Saudi Arabian tourists from having to get biometric visas instead of e-visas as it might hurt the state's tourism prospects. Saying that around five lakh tourists from Saudi Arabia visit Kerala annually, state Tourism Minister AC Moideen reasoned that unlike e-visas, one has to appear directly for getting biometric visas issued.
